Visited for Christmas dinner and was thoroughly impressed..the food was tasty and the meat was lovely and tender Fun and friendly staff too!!

Christmas Day visit

Excellent service, great food. Finally tried the gooey cookie dough dessert and I&apos;m in heaven. Been here for a few quizzes and live music nights and it&apos;s always a blast. Miriam is great. Thanks!

Great food and warm inviting atmosphere 

Very disappointing once again, I visited about three years ago and said never again, this time I went with a group of friends for a pre Christmas meal, I had asked a friend who lives locally if she ate there, her reply was ‘no, the food is bought in and heated on the premises’, now I know what she means, Roast potatoes were pale, not roasted, couldn’t cut through them, microwaved too long, broccoli soggy, Yorkshire pudding overcooked ( not usually served with Turkey) gravy just like water, left most of my meal, the only redemption was the cheesecake desert, definitely my last visit.

Would not recommend

Had a "sharer" plate of camembert for a starter that came with 3 tiny slices of bread ,   when we asked for more bread because 3 clearly isn&apos;t enough for 2 people to share we were told we would have to pay and then waited 15 mins for two more slices ...     Absolutely ridiculous!
